Jeff is the CEO of TeamTax and general partner of Team Financial Group. His entrepreneurial spirit was born when he was a teenager. Jeff spent his free time mowing lawns, doing yard work for seniors in his community, detailing cars and working a newspaper route. He opened his first checking account when he was 16.
Like his father and grandfather, Jeff wanted to serve his country. So, four days after graduating high school, he enlisted in the Army. Jeff did his tour in Germany with the 79th Combat Engineer Unit. Just before being honorably discharged, Jeff was awarded the Army Achievement Medal.
In 1989, Jeff joined TeamTax. He became an IRS Enrolled Agent and obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional designation through the College for Financial Planning. Jeff puts his more than 30 years of tax, financial and insurance experience into good use every day by conducting comprehensive, top-to-bottom wealth reviews and by helping families make smart choices about taxes, money and retirement.
Jeff is married and is a father of three. His two sons and his wife also work in the family business.
In his down time, Jeff enjoys cooking, hiking and adventurous outdoor activities.
